CEZ Basketball Nymburk continued being active in re-signing its players early ahead of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds, extending forward Martin Kriz with a new two-year contract. Kriz (2.00 meters, 21 years old) was the youngest player to play for Nymburk in Eurocup last season. He participated in one game, Eurocup Eighthfinals against Unics Kazan, but got more opportunities and minutes in the Czech League where he averaged 4.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Kriz previously played for BK Pardubice, USK Prague and BK Kolin in Czech Republic, and his re-signing comes fifth this off-season for Nymburk, after the club previously inked new contracts with Jiri Welsch, Petr Benda, Pavel Houska and Tomas Pomikalek.
