Belgian champion BC Telenet Ostend made its first offseason move, announcing on Monday the extension of its contract with its long-time floor general Dusan Djordjevic, keeping him in the club for another two years. Djordjevic (1.93 meters, 31 years old) has been the team’s starting point guard in the past three campaigns. Last season, helping the team to the Eurocup Last 32, he averaged 7.7 points, 3.9 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. In the Belgian League on the way to the third consecutive title, he posted 9.6 points, 3.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals. Djordjevic started his career with Beovuk and Radnicki in Belgrade, Serbia, and has also played for Vojvodina Novi Sad in his native country. He also played for Lokomotiv Rostov and Spartak St.Petersburg in Russia, with Iraklis in Greece, Union Olimpija and Krka Novo Mesto in Slovenia, as well as KK Bosna Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
