Olympiacos Piraeus continued to be active early in the off-season, announcing a deal with power forward Othello Hunter. The Reds brought Hunter in (2.03 meters, 28 years old), who arrives from Montepaschi Siena. Hunter, who is able to play both as a four and a five, made his Turkish Airlines Euroleague last season and averaged 6.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 10 regular season games. He also had 8.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in the Eurocup Last 32, while in the Italian League playoffs he posted 11.0 points and 6.5 rebounds, helping Siena reach finals. During his professional career that started in 2008, Hunter has played on three different continents. He was with Atlanta in the NBA, Shandong and Jiangsu in China, and in Europe he has suited up for Ilysiakos in Greece, Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari in Italy, Azovmash in Ukraine and Valladolid in Spain.
