Anadolu Efes continued stockpiling weapons by signing sharpshooter Matt Janning on a two-year deal. The shooting guard split time last season between Cibona Zagreb and Montepaschi Siena. Janning (1.93 meters, 26 years old) averaged 9.1 points and 2.7 assists in 10 Eurocup Regular Season games with Cedevita and 9.6 points on 52.9% three-point shooting in five Eurocup Last 32 games. He erupted for 35 points on 7-of-10 three-point shooting in just 23 minutes in a Last 32 Round 14 game against Maccabi Haifa Bazan. Janning made his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut in the 2012-13 campaign, which he also played with Siena. He averaged 8.4 points on 47.6% shooting from downtown in 21 Euroleague appearances. Janning previously played for Casale Monferrato in Italy and Maine and Rio Grande in the NBA D-League following a four year collegiate career with Northeastern University. Among his career highlights is winning the 2013 Italian League and Cup double with Siena.
