Cedevita Zagreb will head back to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with size on its side after re-signing big man Miro Bilan to a new two-year deal on Friday. Bilan (2.13 meters, 24 years old) has been a full-time starter with Cedevita since 2011 and made both his Euroleague and Eurocup debuts with the club. Last season, he was among the Eurocup's best 25 per-minute performers with 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 19 minutes per game. During his 2012-13 debut in the Euroleague, Bilan did better, with the same 8.8 points but 6 rebounds on average and higher two-point accuracy of 59.6%. His best scoring season in European competition was his first, 10.7 points in just 10.7 minutes in six Eurocup Regular Season games in 2011-12. His numbers were consistent, too, in the Adriatic League last year, with 9.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Prior to Cedevita, Bilan had come up in the program of Sibenik, also in his native Croatia, and spent one season with another team from that country, Zadar.
