Neptunas Klaipeda added size and experience to its roster by inking center Michail Anisimov to a one-year deal on Thursday. Anisimov (2.16 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Budivelnik Kiev, where he played in each of the last four seasons, helping it win three Ukrainian League titles, lift two Ukrainian Cup trophies and reach back-to-back Eurocup semifinals in 2013 and 2014. He averaged 3.4 points and 3 rebounds in 8 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season. When Budivelnik went to the Eurocup, Anisimov went on to average 7.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10 games. Anisimov already played for Neptunas in the 2006-07 season. He has also played for Atletas, Siauliai and Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius in Lithuania, as well as for Barons in Latvia. He helped L. Rytas win five titles - Baltic League, Baltic Cup, Lithuanian League, Lithuanian Cup and Eurocup - in 2009 and also lifted another Baltic League trophy in 2008. He helped Lithuania get a bronze medal at the 2004 U20 European Championships.
