One of the most promising young players is set to make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut next season with the announcement Tuesday that Cedevita Zagreb inked Marko Arapovic to a four-year deal. Arapovic (2.07 meters, 18 years old) arrives from Cibona Zagreb, where he averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 17 Croatian League games last season. His father Franjo Arapovic was a two-time Euroleague winner with Cibona in 1985 and 1986. He started his career with Kaptol Zagreb, joining Cibona in March 2012. He helped Cibona win the Adriatic League title last season and lift the Croatia's Kresimir Cosic Cup in 2013. Arapovic has won several medals with Croatia's youth national teams - gold at the 2011 U16 European Championships, silver at the 2013 U18 European Championships and respective bronze medals at the 2014 U18 European Championship and the 2012 U17 World Championships.
