CEZ Basketball Nymburk bolstered its frontcourt before the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds by singing center Garrett Stutz, club announced on Monday. Stutz (2.12 meters, 24 years old) played last season with Energa Czarny Slupsk, averaging 12.6 points and 7.1 rebounds in the Polish League. It was his second professional season, after his college career at Wichita State University, as he spent part of the 2012-13 season with Anyang KGC in South Korea, and part in Maine Red Claws in the Development League. "He is a big and strong player, from which we expect will help us under the basket as a shooter, and on the boards”, Nymburk coach Kestutis Kemzura said. “Besides, he also has a solid percentage from three-point range. He is still very young and we believe in his potential, and we will have good conditions to develop it."
