Galatasaray Liv Hospital istanbul reached a new agreement with swingman Sinan Guler to keep him in the team until the end of the 2015-16 season, with an option to extend his contract for one more year. In his first season with Galatasaray, Guler (1.92 meters, 30 years old) averaged 3.5 points in 26 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season, helping his team reach the playoffs. He joined Galatsaray from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, to which he also helped reach the Euroleague playoffs in 2013. Guler has also played for Besiktas JK Istanbul and Darussafaka Istanbul since the start of his professional career. He helped Efes to win the Turkish double - league and cup titles - in 2009 and reached another Turkish League finals with the club in 2010 and 2012. Guler is also a regular member of the Turkish national team, which he helped to win a silver medal at the 2010 FIBA World Championships.
