Unicaja completes roster with Vasileiadis
Kostas Vasileiadis - Anadolu Efes - EB13

Unicaja Malaga completed its roster by inking streak shooter Kostas Vasileiadis, who signed a two-year deal with the Spanish powerhouse on Tuesday night. Vasileiadis (2.00 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, where he averaged 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season. He was ranked second in the competition with 2.43 three-pointers per contest, nailing 56 shots behind the arc on 40.3% shooting, in addition to 90.2% free throw accuracy. He already played for Unicaja in the past, helping it win the club's only Spanish League title in the 2005-06 season, and reach 2007 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four. Prior to last season, Vasileiadis spent three years in Bilbao Basket, which he led to the 2010 Spanish League finals, the 2011 Euroleague playoffs and 2012 Eurocup title game, earning All-Eurocup First Team honors. However, this will be his sixth Euroleague season. Born in Thessaloniki and raised at Greek powerhouse PAOK, Vasileiadis made his Euroleague debut as a 16-year-old with PAOK in 2000. He also played for Olympiacos and Bilbao in the competition, and during his career spent time with Montegranaro of Italy and Xacobeo Obradoiro in Spain.
