Laboral Kutxa forward Tornike Shengelia, one of the club’s major offseason signings, will miss the majority of the preseason with a sprained ankle, the club announced Friday. Shengelia suffered a Grade 2 sprain in a EuroBasket qualifier playing for Georgia. He has already begun treatment under the club’s medical team in Vitoria in hope of shortening the recovery time. Laboral begins its Turkish Airlines Euroleague campaign on October 15 at home against Neptunas Klaipeda.
