On Wednesday afternoon, Turkish Airlines Euroleague newcomer Nizhny Novgorod made official the addition of forward Will Daniels for the season that is about to start. Daniels (2.03 meters, 28 years old) arrives from JSF Nanterre of France, where he made his Euroleague debut last season averaging 10.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 10 regular season games. He also played eight Eurocup games later in the season with Nanterre averaging 8.8 points, 4.4 boards and 1.5 assists. Daniels played college ball in Rhode Island from 2004 to 2008 and then made his pro debut in Greece that same year. He has played in Peristeri, Kavala and also VEF Riga of Latvia, where he also had a Eurocup appearance in 2012-13. He first signed with Nanterre in 2010 and spent two years there. After his stint in Riga, he returned to Nanterre. He will now be back to the European top competition while also making his debut in Russia.
