Laboral Kutxa Vitoria signed power forward Ryan Gomes, who has been a double-digit scorer for four teams during an eight-season NBA career. Gomes (2.01 meters, 32 years old) signed through the end of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague regular season with a team option to extend the contract for the entire season. The contract will go into effect once the player completes a physical examination. He played in five games for Oklahoma City last season. Gomes returns to Europe after playing briefly with Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck of Germany in the 2012-13 season, He averaged 10.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in two Eurocup games for Dragons. Gomes played his best NBA seasons with Minnesota, with whom he averaged 13.3 points in 82 games in 2008-09, the second of his three seasons there.
