Anadolu Efes Istanbul on Monday announced the signing of point guard Donnie McGrath to a contract until the end of the season. McGrath (1.93 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Spartak St. Petersburg, where last season he averaged 10.8 points and 5.1 assists in 10 Eurocup games. McGrath debuted in the Euroleague during the 2007-08 season for Virtus Bologna of Italy, putting up 7.6 points on average over 10 games. He also joined Zalgiris Kaunas for the last six games of the 2012-13 Top 16, contributing 4.5 points per game. Efes becomes McGrath's 13th club and Turkey his sixth country since he started his pro career in Europe in 2006.
