Laboral Kutxa Vitoria announced following its home loss to Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade on Thursday that it had relieved Marco Crespi of his duties as the club’s head coach, effective immediately. Assistant coach Ibon Navarro takes over as head coach on an interim basis. Crespi was in his first season on the Vitoria bench. He was hired in August after Sergio Scariolo was dismissed. He leaves the club tied for third place in Group D with a 2-3 record and tied for 11th in the Spanish League with a 2-4 record. Crespi coached Montepaschi Siena in the 2013-14 season.
