Patsatsia (1.98 meters, 26 years old) arrives from MIA Academy Tbilisi in his native Georgia. The contract is for one month with a team option to extend it. Last season he played for Dnipro Azot Dniprodzerzhynsk in Ukraine. Patsatsia also played for SSU Sukhumi and Olimpi Tbilisi in Georgia and college basketball for the University of Arkansas, Pensacola Junior College and Troy University. He started for the Georgian national team at EuroBasket 2013. Daniels only appeared in two Turkish Airlines Euroleague games and totaled 11 points and 8 rebounds in 22 minutes. The player and club agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent.

“First of all, I want to say that I am very happy to be in such a young, but already such a successful team,” Patsatsia said. “This is a great chance for me. I know Coach Bagatskis, we worked together in Sukhum. He brought me to Nizhny Novgorod. I think I'm a pretty athletic player for his position, I am not afraid of contact. How else can I help the team? I'm willing to do whatever the coach says. If you need to score, I'll score. If need be simply waving a towel, I'll be waving a towel.”
