Top 16 Round 11 bwin MVP: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul‏

The reigning Euroleague Rising Star award winner, Bogdan Bogdanovic, continued to shine with his first bwin MVP of the week honor. Bogdanovic torched EA7 Emporio Armani Milan for 25 points and a performance index rating of 32 in a 98-77 home win that lifted his Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul to a 98-77 victory and a spot in the playoffs. Bogdanovic’s index rating was the highest of any player on a winning team in Top 16 Round 11. He also had 4 assists, 2 steals and shot 6 for 6 from the foul line in a brilliant performance. The week’s top index rating belonged to Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade center Boban Marjanovic, who scored a 35 in a 73-77 loss to FC Barcelona. Marjanovic, who is the Euroleague leader in performance index rating this season with an average of 24.8 per game, tallied 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Next on the list of Top 16 Round 11’s best was guard Nando De Colo, who paced CSKA Moscow to a 77-95 victory at Unicaja Malaga with 19 points on near perfects hooting, 6 assists and 2 steals. He finished with a performance index rating of 31. Rounding out the list of the week’s top performances were De Colo’s backcourt mate Milos Teodosic, Panathinaikos scorer Nikos Pappas and Fenerbahce forward Nemanja Bjelica, each with index ratings of 30. Teodosic scored 25 points on just 2 missed shots and dished 8 assists. Pappas led the Greens over Real Madrid 85-69 with 22 points on perfect shooting from the field and 7 of 8 from the line. And Bjelica posted 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Individual leaders: Jeremy Pargo of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, 26 points

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv guard Jeremy Pargo was the week’s best scorer with 26 points in a 79-72 victory over Zalgiris. Nizhny Novgorod guard Taylor Rochestie remains the league’s top scorer with 19.1 points per game and the Top 16 leader at 18.4 per game. Boban Marjanovic and Zalgiris’s Paulius Jankunas topped the week’s rebounding charts with 11 apiece. Marjanovic remains this season’s rebounding leader with 10.4 per game and 10.1 in the Top 16. Stefan Markovic of Unicaja and Reggie Redding of ALBA Berlin were Top 16 Round 11’s leading assist men with 10 each. Milos Teodosic is the Euroleague leader with 7.3 assists per game and the Top 16 leader with 6.8 per game. Mike James swiped 5 balls to become the weekly leader in steals. Rudy Fernandez of Real Madrid leads the league with 1.71 steals per game and is tied with Nando De Colo for the Top 16 lead with 1.82 per game. Dimitrios Agravanis swatted 2 shots against Laboral Kutxa to lead Top 16 Round 11 in blocks. Art Parakhouski of Nizhny Novgorod is the leader for blocks this season (2.1 bpg.) and blocks in the Top 16 (2.4 bpg.). Three players recorded double doubles in Top 16 Round 11: Marjanovic, Redding (10 points, 10 rebounds) and FC Barcelona’s Tomas Satoransky (11 points, 10 rebounds).
