Anadolu Efes's Krstic suffers torn ACL
Anadolu Efes Istanbul will start the 2015-16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague season without center Nenad Krstic, who was injured badly in Game 3 of the Turkish League finals against Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir on Sunday. Krstic went down late in the third quarter and had to leave the court on a stretcher. It has since been confirmed that Krstic tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee and is expected to be out for six months. Accordingly, Krstic will not only be unable to help Efes in the remainder of the Turkish League finals, but will miss the start of the 2015-16 season. Krstic, a two-time All-Euroleague First Team selection, signed a two-year deal with Efes last summer and averaged 13 points on 58.2% shooting and 5 rebounds in 20 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season in helping his team reach the playoffs. This was his seventh Euroleague campaign.
