As it has done all week long, Anadolu Efes Istanbul continued bolstering its roster on Friday by announcing the addition of point guard Jayson Granger for the next two seasons. Granger (1.89 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Unicaja Malaga of Spain, where he spent the last two seasons. After debuting in the Euroleague in 2013-14, last season Granger became one of the leaders of Unicaja, with averages of 10.2 points, 4.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 23 Turkish Airlines Euroleague appearances. He also had an impressive career-high game against Nizhny Novgorod in February with 29 points and a performance index rating of 34. He also led Unicaja to the Spanish League semifinals this year. Granger grew up with Estudiantes of Madrid, making his debut on its second team in 2006. He stayed there until signing for Unicaja in 2013. Grayson is the third new signing announced by Efes this week after those of experienced big men Bryant Dunston and Derrick Brown.
