Khimki keeps big man Davis
Eurocup champion Khimki Moscow Region reached a new agreement with center Paul Davis to keep working together next season, the club announced this weekend. Davis (2.11 meters, 30 years old) has played for Khimki in the last three seasons. He averaged 9.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 19 Eurocup games last season, boosting his numbers up to 16.5 points and 8 rebounds in the finals against Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas. Davis earned All-Eurocup second team honors in the 2010-11 season, in which he helped Spanish side Cajasol Seville reach the title game. Davis shined in the 2012-13 Turkish Airlines Euroleague season, averaging 13.4 points on 85.5% free throws and 5.5 rebounds in 23 games for Khimki. He has also played for Los Angeles Clippers and Washington of the NBA, Maine of the D-League and Obradoiro of Spain.
