FC Bayern Munich has reached a new agreement with center John Bryant to keep working together until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced Wednesday. Bryant (2.08 meters, 28 years old) averaged 10.8 points and 7.7 rebounds in 10 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season. He was the second-best regular season rebounder, trailing only Boban Marjanovic of Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade. When Bayern went on to play the Eurocup, Bryant averaged 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in less than 23 minutes per game. Bryant helped Bayern win the German League title in 2014 - the club's first since 1955 - and reach the final last season. He has also played for ratiopharm Ulm of Germany, which he took to the German League finals in 2012 and the Eurocup quarterfinals the next spring. Bryant earned first-team All-Eurocup honors in 2012-13 with averages of 16 points and 9 rebounds over 13 games. "It is great to return to Bayern. The fans should know how much we appreciate their support," Bryant said. "I am looking forward to seeing you in October again in the Audi Dome."
