FC Bayern Munich improved its roster for the upcoming season by inking center Andreas Seiferth to a one-year deal on Monday. Seiferth (2.09 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck, where he averaged 6.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10 Eurocup games last season. He started his career with BBC Berlin Marzahner Basket Baeren and also played for TuS Lichterfelde Berlin, ALBA Berlin and TBB Trier before joining Artland in 2014. Seiferth has also been a member of the German national team. Bayern also announced the departure of center Vladimir Stimac. "I will be in full force since the first practice," Seiferth said. "This is clearly a step forward in my career and I am glad I got this great opportunity to play for Bayern and in the Euroleague."
