One of the most spectacular players in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague is set to continue showcasing his dunking skills across the continent this season with the news that Italian League champion Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari signed power forward Brent Petway on Thursday. Petway (2.05 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Olympiacos Piraeus, where he played the last two seasons. He averaged 5.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in 24 Euroleague games last season, in which he helped Olympiacos reach the Euroleague Championship Game. He also lifted the Greek League trophy with Olympiacos last season. Petway started his professional career with Idaho of the D-League and also played for Ilysiakos and AGO Rethymno Aegean of Greece, JA Vichy Val d'Allier Auvergne of France and the Harlem Globetrotters. Petway has won slam dunk contests in both the D-League and the Greek League and helped Idaho win the D-League title in 2008.
