CSKA forward Khryapa out indefinitely
CSKA Moscow forward Victor Khryapa will be sidelined indefinitely after sustaining a broken left wrist in Thursday’s Game of the Week victory over Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul in Turkey. The team medical staff will reevaluate the injury Monday in Moscow to decide on the course of action. Khryapa, 33, is the CSKA captain and one of the most accomplished players the club has seen in recent years, but has played sparingly due to injuries over the past season. He played a total of six minutes in two games this season. Khryapa won the 2008 Euroleague with CSKA, was the 2009-10 Euroleague Best Defender and is a three-time All-Euroleague selection.
