Point guard Aaron Jackson will be out of action in the short term for CSKA Moscow after suffering a concussion and broken bones in a domestic league game on Sunday, the club announced. Jackson, 29, was hit with an elbow by Grigory Motovilov of Zenit St. Petersburg in the VTB League game between their teams and had to be hospitalized. Tests performed later revealed that Jackson had suffered a concussion and three broken facial bones, but CSKA reported Monday that he is feeling normal and has left the hospital. The club plans to consult specialists in order to devise a rehabilitation process for Jackson. CSKA plays on the road Thursday against streaking Brose Baskets Bamberg in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Game of the Week. Jackson, in his fourth season with CSKA, is averaging 6.9 points and 2.9 assists in almost 21 minutes per game.
