Real Madrid added to its frontline by signing rookie forward Maurice Ndour until the end of this season. The signing will help bolster the forward rotation, which has lost All-Euroleague swingman Rudy Fernandez and Final Four MVP Andres Nocioni to injuries recently. Ndour (2.06 meters, 23 years old), who spent the preseason with Dallas of the NBA, last played competitively for the University of Ohio from 2013 through 2015. He averaged 16.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks for the Bobcats last season and was named All-Mid-American Conference Second Team for the second season in a row. A native of Senegal, Ndour went to high school in Japan before moving to America to play college basketball at Monroe College and later Ohio.
