Olympiacos strengthened its roster shortly before the start of the Top 16 with the signing of guard Darius Johnson-Odom. The deal is through the end of the 2017-18 season. Johnson-Odom (1.88 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Trabzonspor Medical Park, where he averaged 7.6 points, 3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 10 Eurocup games this season. He previously played for Italian side FoxTown Cantu, where he averaged 15.7 points and 3.4 assists in 18 Eurocup games last season and helped the team reach the elimination rounds as the competition's sixth-best scorer. He earned regular season Round 9 MVP honors with a performance index ranking of 40 in a home win over JDA Dijon. Johnson-Odom has also played for Philadelphia and Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, Sichuan Blue Whales of China and for Los Angeles of the D-League. He is set to make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut with the Reds.
