Panathinaikos Athens added more athleticism and depth to its frontcourt for the final stretch of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16 by signing rookie forward Vince Hunter until the end of the season, the club announced on Friday. This is the third addition for the Greens in recent weeks, after guards MarQuez Haynes and Elliot Williams joined the team. Hunter (2.03 meters, 21 years old) arrives from Reno of the National Basketball Development League, where he posted 21.8 points and 11.3 rebounds through 32 games this season, the first professional one of his career. Hunter previously starred in college at University of Texas at El Paso, where he averaged 13.6 points and 7.9 rebounds over a span of two years. Hunter is now set to make his Euroleague debut in Top 16 Round 8 when Panathinaikos looks to improve its 4-3 record in Group E at home against the undefeated Fenerbahce Istanbul.
