Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and Richard Hendrix will join forces for the next season and a half, the club announced Wednesday. Hendrix (2.03 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Unicaja Malaga, where he averaged 9 points and 6.2 rebounds in 16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games and 8.1 points and 5.3 boards in 17 Spanish League games. The big man made his Euroleague debut with Maccabi in the 2010-11 campaign and helped the club reach the Euroleague Championship Game. He also played there the following season. He helped the club win back-to-back Israeli League and Cup doubles and to the 2012 Adriatic League crown. Hendrix has also played for Granada in Spain, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in Italy and Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar in Russia. He was the 2013 Eurocup Final MVP when he led Lokomotiv to the Eurocup title.
