Darussafaka Dogus has added valuable experience to its roster by inking swingman Birkan Batuk to a two-year deal. Batuk (1.96 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, where he played for four seasons. He averaged 4.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 20 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season. Batuk grew up with Ulker Istanbul and also played for Alpella Istanbul, Tranzonspor and Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir before joining Efes. He has taken part in 50 Euroleague games, amassing 218 points and 76 rebounds. He helped Efes win the Turkish Cup title in 2015. Batuk is also a member of the Turkish national team.
