Real Madrid lands All-EuroLeague big man Randolph
Real Madrid bolstered its frontline by signing Anthony Randolph, who was among the top big men in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague last season. Randolph was named to the All-EuroLeague Second Team after posting 14.5 points and 6 rebounds over 23 games for Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, helping it reach the Final Four. It was his second post-season award in as many seasons with the club; Randolph was an All-Eurocup Second Team choice the season prior. Randolph missed the start of last season due to injuries, but made a major impact upon his return. He was at his best in the playoff series against FC Barcelona Lassa, in which he posted a double-double in the opening game and erupted for 28 points in an overtime Game 4 victory to keep his team alive. Before coming to Lokomotiv, Randolph spent six seasons in the NBA with Denver, Minnesota, New York and Golden State.
