Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul and reserve guard Goksenin Koksal will remain together for another two seasons after the player penned a new contract on Tuesday. Koksal (1.95 meters, 25 years old) is a product of the Galatasaray youth system and has spent his entire career with the club, spare one season on loan at Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul. He averaged 5.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 23 games last season in helping Galatasaray win the EuroCup. He set a career high with 21 points on 5-of-5 three-point shooting in a regular season win over AEK Athens and started and contributed 8 points and 2 steals in the title-clinching victory over Strasbourg in the EuroCup Finals. Koksal also posted 5.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in the Turkish League. He has appeared in a total of 26 EuroLeague games in past seasons with the club.
