Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul continued to shape its roster for the 2016-17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague by signing forward Orhan Haciyeva, who will debut in the competition this season. Haciyeva (2.03 meters, 26 years old) played for Acibadem University in Turkish second division last season where he averaged 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds over 29 games. A native of Azerbaijan, Haciyeva came to Turkey to start his career at the Anadolu Efes stanbul youth system and has played for fellow Turkish sides Usak Sportif, Aliaga Petkim, Turk Telekom and Darussafaka. He has also played for the Azerbaijan national team.
