Crvena Zvezda adds depth, invests in future with Rakicevic
A week before the start of the new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade added depth and invested in its future by signing a three-year contract with tall guard Petar Rakicevic, club announced on Wednesday. Rakicevic (2.04 meters, 21 years old) who can play both guard positions and as a small forward, arrives from Metalac Valjevo where he spent the past two seasons. Last season in the ABA League he averaged 6.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He also played with Borac Cacak, and was a member of U20 Serbia national team that won gold medal at the U20 European Championship in 2015. Now he is set to make his EuroLeague debut.
