Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv signed 2017 Israeli League MVP John DiBartolomeo to a three-year contract. DiBartolomeo (1.83 meters, 26 years old) has spent the previous two seasons with Maccabi Hunter Haifa, which he led to the Israeli championship game last season. He averaged 11.0 points on 40.2% three-point shooting, 3.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals in 27 regular season games last season and saw those numbers soar to 19.2 points on 55.3% three-point shooting, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in six post-season contests. DiBartolomeo began his professional career with Palma Air Europa in the Spanish second division. Before that, he starred for the University of Rochester, where he finished his career ranked third in school history in scoring (1,779 points) and second in assists (533), steals (201) and free throws made (520).
