Olympiacos lands forward Tillie
Olympiacos Piraeus bolstered its frontcourt by signing power forward Kim Tillie to a two-year deal on Sunday. Tillie (2.10 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, where he averaged 6.9 points on excellent shooting percentages (62.6% 2FG, 40.7% 3FG, 91.2% FT) and 3.8 rebounds in 32 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. In his three seasons with Baskonia, Tillie helped the team to reach the EuroLeague Final Four in 2016 and the EuroLeague playoffs last season. Tillie started his career with ASVEL Basket of his native France. He also played for UCAM Murcia before joining Baskonia in 2014. He has also been a member of the French national team, helping it win a bronze medal at the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Tillie was also successful in youth categories, helping France get a gold medal at the 2006 U18 European Championships and a bronze at the 2007 U19 World Championships.
