Khimki Moscow Region brought back a familiar face by signing forward Tyler Honeycutt, the club announced Friday. Honeycutt (2.03 meters, 27 years old) previously played two seasons with Khimki from 2014 through 2016; he helped the club win the 2015 EuroCup and made his EuroLeague debut with Khimki the following season. He arrives from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, where Honeycutt posted 9.2 points and ranked third in the EuroLeague with 7.3 rebounds over 35 EuroLeague games last season, despite coming off the bench for all but one of them. Honeycutt also posted 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest in helping Efes reach the playoffs. Earlier in his career, Honeycutt played for Sacramento in the NBA, Reno and Rio Grande Valley in the D-League and Ironi Nes Ziona in Israel.
