Real Madrid and forward Jeffery Taylor will remain together for another two seasons after the sides agreed on a new contract, the club announced Tuesday. Taylor (2.01 meters, 28 years old) averaged 4.6 points on 39.2% three-point shooting in 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season in helping Madrid finish atop the regular season table and reach the Final Four. In two seasons with Madrid, Taylor helped Madrid win back-to-back Spanish Copa del Rey titles and lift the Intercontinental Cup and the Spanish League trophies in 2015. Before playing for Madrid, Taylor spent time with Charlotte in the NBA, where he played a total of 132 games over three seasons. His best season was 2013-14, when he averaged 8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 26 appearances before an Achilles tendon injury shortened his season. He also briefly played for Austin of the D-League in 2015. A native of Sweden, Taylor has played for the Swedish national teams and starred at EuroBasket 2013 with 21.2 points per game.
