Khimki inks swingman Viktorov to two-year deal
Khimki Moscow Region signed swingman Ivan Viktorov to a two-year contract, the club announced Friday. Viktorov (1.96 meters, 22 years old) arrives from Nizhny Novgorod, where he has spent the past three seasons and appeared in four Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games in the 2014-15 campaign. Last season he appeared in five 7DAYS EurioCup games and totaled 4 points in limited minutes. Viktorov also averaged 2.2 points in six VTB United League contests. He started his career in the youth system at Spartak St. Petersburg before moving to Nizhny as a teenager. Viktorov has also played for the Russian national teams in junior events.
