Belgacom Spirou Charleroi added depth to its roster shortly before the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Week 1 signing deadline by bringing in Randy Oveneke. The Belgian national team forward arrives from fellow Belgian club Antwerp Giants, where he spent the past three seasons. Oveneke (201 meters, 25 years old) is considered to be an aggressive defender and a good three-point shooter. He missed much of last season with a knee injury, but returned to play for the Belgian national team at EuroBasket 2011.
