Anadolu Efes adds Doellman

Anadolu Efes Istanbul reached an agreement with power forward Justin Doellman, who signed a one-year deal with the Turkish powerhouse on Wednesday. Efes keeps an option to release him by the end of 2017. Doellman (2.05 meters, 32 years old) arrives from FC Barcelona Lassa, where he played in the last three seasons. He averaged 7.8 points and 3.1 rebounds in 15 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. In four EuroLeague seasons - three with Barcelona and another one with Entente Orleanaise -, Doellman has averaged 9.7 points and four rebounds in 78 career games. Doellman has also played for Besancon and Cholet in France, as well as for Alicante, Manresa and Valencia in Spain. He led Valencia to its third 7DAYS EuroCup title in 2014. Doellman, a two-time All-Eurocup First Team selection, took over in the Eurocup Finals and earned MVP honors. He led Valencia to a sweep of Unics Kazan by averaging 27 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in the two finals games. He was also chosen as the 2013-14 Spanish League MVP after leading Valencia to a 30-4 regular season record. Doellman has also been a member of the Kosovan national team.
