Khimki Moscow Region announced Monday that star center Thomas Robinson will miss several months with a broken wrist. He is expected to undergo surgery this week to repair the fractured navicular bone on his right hand. Robinson suffered the injury during Friday’s loss at Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul. A newcomer to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Robinson has averaged 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks through nine games. Not only are his 70 rebounds the most in the competition, but Robinson leads the EuroLeague in per-minute rebounds with a prorated averaged of 16.0 per 40 minutes and is seventh in the league in per-minute performance index rating with 27.8 per 40 minutes.
