Brose Bamberg bolstered its frontcourt by bringing in center Dejan Musli, who signed a contract with the German powerhouse until the end of the season. Musli (2.13 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Unicaja Malaga, where he averaged 5.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in nine Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season. He will be eligible to dress for Brose in the EuroLeague, if registered, as of Round 15 in late December. Musli was chosen to the All-EuroCup first team in the 2015-16 season, in which he averaged 11.7 points on 66.4% two-point shooting and 3.7 rebounds in 16 games. Musli helped Unicaja win the EuroCup title but was not able to play in the finals due to injury. He was chosen as the Spanish League MVP for October 2015 and also to the 2015-16 All-Spanish League second team when he played for ICL Manresa. Musli has also played for FMP Zeleznik, Mega Leks and Partizan Belgrade of his native Serbia, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Laboral Kutxa Vitoria Gasteiz of Spain and Fabi Shoes Montegranaro of Italy. Musli became a superstar in junior competitions, dominating the Nike International Junior Tournament in the late 2000s. He led FMP to win back-to-back NIJT titles in 2008 and 2009, being chosen as the tournament MVP twice. Musli also helped FMP to make it to the NIJT final in 2007. He had 31 points and 17 rebounds in the 2009 NIJT title game against Lietuvos Rytas in Berlin, Germany. Musli led the Serbian U18 national team to win the European Championships in France and was chosen to the All-Tournament team. He had previously led Serbia to lift the 2007 U16 European Championships in Greece, earning tournament MVP honors.
