Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has added sizable reinforcement for the race to reach the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs by signings experienced center Alen Omic until the end of the season. Omic (2.16 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, where he posted 8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17 minutes on average over 10 7DAYS EuroCup games this season. Omic won the EuroCup title with Unicaja Malaga last season and has two EuroLeague seasons under his belt, as well, with Union Olimpija Ljubljana in his native Slovenia back in 2012-13 and with Anadolu Efes Istanbul before moving to Unicaja in the middle of last season. He has averaged 3.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in a total of 27 EuroLeague games. With EuroCup stints also for Olimpija and Herbalife Gran Canaria, he has played 73 games over five seasons of that competition, averaging 10.6 points and 6.2 rebounds.
