FC Barcelona Lassa added another weapon to its backcourt with the signing of All-EuroLeague point guard Kevin Pangos to a two-year deal. Pangos (1.88 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Zalgiris Kaunas, where he averaged 12.7 points on 47.5% three-point shooting and 5.9 assists in 36 EuroLeague games last season. He ranked third in the league in assists and 10th in three-point accuracy with more threes made than any other player in the top 10. After leading Zalgiris to the Final Four and a third-place finish, he was chosen to the All-EuroLeague Second Team. In his two seasons with Zalgiris, Pangos also helped the team win back-to-back Lithuanian League and Cup doubles. Pangos played college basketball at Gonzaga University and made his professional denut
with Herbalife Gran Canaria in Spain before joining Zalgiris. In his lone season with Gran Canaria, he helped the club reach the Spanish Copa del Rey final and 7DAYS EuroCup semifinals and was named to the 2015-16 All-EuroCup Second Team. Pangos is also a member of the Canadian national team.
