Olympiacos pens Williams-Goss to multiyear deal

The first new addition to Olympiacos Piraeus in the Coach David Blatt era is guard Nigel Williams-Goss, who signed a multiyear deal. Williams-Goss (1.91 meters, 23 years old) comes off a stellar rookie season with Partizan NIS Belgrade. He ranked fourth in the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season with an average performance index rating of 20.1, second with 6.7 assists, tied for fifth with 17.0 points per game. Williams-Goss and was just outside the top 10 with 1.6 steals per game over nine appearances. He helped Partizan win the Serbian Cup and averaged 19.6 points, 8.0 assists and 1.3 steals in the Serbian League last season, too. Before Partizan, Williams-Goss played college basketball at the University of Washington and Gonzaga University; he was the 2016-17 West Coast Conference player of the year after his final season with the Zags. He also helped the United States win a gold medal at the U19 World Championship in 2013. Williams-Goss will make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with the Reds.
