Olympiacos Piraeus announced on Saturday the signing of big man Zach LeDay to a three-year contract, making him the second new player to join the Reds this week. LeDay (2.01 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Hapoel Gilboa Galil, where in his first professional season, he averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks over 37 Israeli League games. He was the second-best scorer in the competition. He also recorded the first double-double-double in league history with 22 points and 22 rebounds against Hapoel Jerusalem last December. Prior to turning pro, LeDay played at two universities in his native United States: South Florida and Virginia Tech.
