Zalgiris Kaunas signed point guard Nate Wolters for the coming season with an option for the 2019-20 campaign. Wolters (1.93 meters, 27 years old) arrives from French side Chalon/Saone, where he averaged 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists over 15 games last season. He would have ranked third in the league in both scoring and assists if he had played enough games to qualify. Wolters started the season with Utah in the NBA and also played for Salt Lake City in the D-League. He returns to the EuroLeague after spending the 2016-17 season with Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, which he helped to the Adriatic League crown and Serbian League and Cup double. Wolters has also played for Besiktas Istanbul in Turkey, Milwaukee and New Orleans in the NBA and Grand Rapids in the D-League.
