Maccabi re-signs guard Pargo

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv reached a new agreement with combo guard Jeremy Pargo, who re-signed his contract with the Israeli powerhouse for one more season, the club announced Wednesday. Pargo (1.88 meters, 32 years old) is in his third stint with Maccabi. He averaged 13.3 points and 6.5 assists in 13 Israeli League games last season, helping Maccabi win the title. He also helped Maccabi reach the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague final in 2011, a year in which he was chosen to the All-EuroLeague Second Team, averaging 13 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Pargo won the Israeli League title in 2011 and two Israeli State Cup crowns in 2010 and 2015 wearing Maccabi's jersey. He started his career with Altshuler Saham Galil Gilboa, to which he led to win the Israeli League title in 2010. Pargo has also played for Memphis, Cleveland and Philadelphia of the NBA, CSKA Moscow of Russia, Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, Shenzhen Leopards and Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings of China, Santa Cruz of the D-League and Champville of Lebanon. He helped CSKA win the VTB League title and reach the EuroLeague Final Four in 2014.
