Panathinaikos Athens boosted its backcourt with the addition of two-time EuroLeague Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy winner Keith Langford
. The contract is for one season. Langford (1.93 meters, 34 years old) last played in Israel with Maccabi Rishon Lezion, where he averaged 19.1 points and 2.7 assists in 12 games. He started the season in China with the Shenzhen Leopards. Before that, Langford had played seven season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for UNICS Kazan, Olimpia Milan, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Khimki Moscow Region. He won the Ford Trophy in 2014 and 2017 and was named to the 2013-14 All-Euroleague First Team. In his seven EuroLeague season, Langford has played a total 118 games and averaged 17.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists. His career scoring average is the fourth highest in competition history. Langford also played parts of two seasons in the 7DAYS EuroCup with UNICS and was named to the 2014-15 All-EuroCup Second Team.
